Center Denmark is a partner in the Utility Digitalization Program 2024-2027

The Danish government has established the Utility Digitalization Program as part of the overall digitalization strategy. The program aims to ensure that Denmark has a green, cohesive, and efficient utility sector. The key to this is data; utility data.

Center Denmark is proud to participate as a partner in the Cross-Sector Architecture and Development Committee under the Utility Digitalization Program. We will contribute our expertise in digitalization, the release of utility data, and the development of data infrastructure.

Center Denmark is the Secretariat Manager for the Energy and CO2 Account

The Energy and CO2 Account is a digital tool that helps Danish municipalities keep track of their CO2 emissions while supporting better planning and implementation of measures for CO2 reductions, energy efficiency, and more.

Center Denmark's role as the secretariat head allows us to stay attuned to the data needs and demands of public actors to support their work in the green transition.

For Municipalities: Using Data for Better Energy Planning

As a municipal authority, it is possible to access data about municipal buildings through utility companies.

Via Center Denmark's data platform, municipalities can easily and conveniently access both operational and planning data. This enables any municipality to optimize its building operations and develop a more cohesive energy plan for the entire municipality.
